Yes, we have challenges. Every city, state, region and country does. Yet, Kankakee County remains a place that draws thousands of visitors, new residents and new business each and every year.

In fact, Kankakee County enjoyed 650,000 visitors in 2010, providing an economic impact of more than $115 million!

And, just last month, New Geography named the Kankakee-Bradley metro area among the 100 Best Small Cities for Jobs nationwide.

The Economic Alliance of Kankakee County and our local community partners see great potential in Kankakee County are working to identify areas for improvement and devise a comprehensive, clear plan to share our many advantages with current and future community investors.
