Reigning Cats & Dogs was a daydream for sisters Beverly Harrington and Colleen Longtin. They thought the concept of selling products that promote the unique style, health, and safety of pets was a noble one.
After the passing of one sister, Beverly, the idea was shared with Colleen’s daughter, Dawn, and the once passing fancy between two sisters soon started to become a reality. Colleen and Dawn opened Reigning Cats & Dogs on March 1, 2011.
Reigning Cats & Dogs is a unique pet boutique catering to all sizes and genders of cats and dogs. Our modern, but trendy store attracts both men and women who want the best quality and look for their pets.
We are excited to sell branded names such as Paul Mitchell and Pet Head salon style products, Body Glove water apparel and toys, Golds Gym, and others. Our boutique offers apparel, bedding, gourmet and organic treats, collars and leashes, toys, unique cat scratchers, carriers, accessories, car magnets, and many, many more!
We are a small store with limited space, however, if we do not have something in stock, we will do everything we can to order the product for our customers. We also are very proud to be involved in various charitable events such as March of Dimes, the Kankakee Chapter of Lungevity, and NAWS. We are passionate about adoption and educating the public about our furry little friends.
